The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation mourns the loss of Leslie Waddington. Leslie was a man of incomparable intellect and brilliant, original wit. As an art dealer, he was the exemplar of professionalism and meticulousness. He had rare wisdom about the unique milieu known as "the art world," in which he epitomized the truest ethics and vision. As a person, he had taste and charm in profusion, bringing immense joy to those lucky enough to know him. As a friend, he was simply without equal.
Our deepest sympathy to Leslie's spectacular wife Clodagh, his mainstay and savior, to his daughters Laura and Anya, his loving grandchildren, and so many other people blessed to be in Leslie's orbit.
—Nicholas Fox Weber and family and all the associates of the Albers Foundation
