The Albers Foundation has partnered with Yale University Press to make Josef Albers's Interaction of Color: Fiftieth Anniversary Edition available online for students and researchers through Yale's A&AePortal. Yale Press published Josef Albers's original Interaction of Color in 1963 and has since issued numerous paperback editions, as well as an interactive iPad app in 2013. The new online ePortal version features Albers's original commentary and instruction, along with high-resolution reproductions of the color plates. In addition, videos with Frederick A. Horowitz, who was a student of Josef Albers, and Brenda Danilowitz, chief curator of the Albers Foundation, further explain specific lessons. Yale's ePortal, which features numerous titles, was created specifically for students and teachers and is currently open to institutional subscribers.
