Google Doodle celebrates Anni Albers

Google Doodle celebrates the life and legacy of artist Anni Albers: “She was a German American textile designer, printmaker, and educator known for her expertise in weaving. Albers is one of the few artists responsible for innovating the art form into a modernist lens, while also staying true to its ancient roots and traditions. The Doodle was handcrafted on a weaving machine by New York-based guest artist, Julia Lines.”
